Uniwell POS Update with Verifactu

The VERIFACTU regulation affects Uniwell devices, which cannot be technically adapted. We explain the situation and the next steps for customers using these systems.
Status of Uniwell devices under the VERIFACTU regulation
The upcoming implementation of the VERIFACTU regulation has tested the adaptability of various billing systems on the market. Over the past months, we have worked intensively with the Uniwell manufacturer to update their devices and ensure compatibility with the new legal requirements. However, despite all the tests performed and the technical involvement of both parties, it has been confirmed that the Ubuntu-based system used by these machines cannot be modified to comply with the protocols required by VERIFACTU.
Next steps for Uniwell users
Due to this technical limitation, all establishments currently operating with Uniwell devices will need to replace their POS system with a compatible one in order to comply with the regulation.
