Spending 15–30 minutes each week reviewing your numbers may sound tedious, but it delivers clear, actionable insights.
A weekly report gives you a real snapshot of what’s happening: sales, tickets, best-selling products, payment devices, etc. This vision allows you to act quickly on specific actions (a sudden deficit, lower attendance on a particular day…).
With fresh data you can:
Decide on promotions or schedule changes.
Boost what’s working and prioritize areas with room for improvement.
Weekly reviews help you understand which tactics are behind rises or drops.
You avoid endless meetings and can align the week’s goals in an agile way.
The team sees the results and knows their work matters. This creates greater engagement and reduces burnout by avoiding constant emergencies.
A small deviation becomes an early warning: lack of stock, sales drop, expense spikes, recurring negative reviews… and you can act before they escalate.
If you have a team, this weekly review unifies everyone around the objectives, makes it easier to share challenges, and strengthens the common strategy.
Choose 5 or 6 key metrics: total sales, average ticket, active promotions, number of customers, incidents or reservations.
Set a fixed day (for example, Tuesday first thing in the morning).
Use a simple template (Excel sheet or Google Sheets): metric names and space for comparison with the previous week.
Add action or reflection: e.g. “Increase croquette stock on Friday”, “2×1 t-shirt promotion”.
Meet with your team if applicable (5–10 minutes): review what works and what needs attention.
This routine is agile, practical, and will protect you from operational errors that often go unnoticed if not reviewed regularly.
At Madisa, we have a solution designed to help you with all of this: Madisa Analytics, a tool created to show you all this data in a visual, fast, and understandable way.
